| i am breaking my xanga silence b/c i couldn't NOT blog about this!!!!
hey fabulous ladies!!! it's back!!! it's been long awaited and of course, lots of drama making it happen but it did happen!!! and yes...it was fabulous!!!
the gals from my all time favorite tv show are back!!! and on the big screens!!! we were all set and ready for a fabulous girls nite out when lo and behold!!! i try to go buy the tix on wednesday and they were SOLD OUT!!!! ALREADY!!!! so i started panicking and searched theaters all over the chicagoland!!! i was even willing to drive out to the burbs if i could get tickets!!! but my awesome bro managed to buy some tix for us in the city on thursday morning so we were all set!!! :)
friday came around and i went around school telling people, "happy sex and the city day" altho none of my coworkers watch that show. i was psyched!!! the ladies and i were decked out in heels and went out a delicious dinner w/yummy sangria. then we trekked out to the theaters and arrived 40 min earlier thinking it was enough time. it was NOT!!! the line was already so friggin long. i was nervous that we'd have to sit in the front row!!! it was a crazy scene tho. the line for the movie looked like a line for the clubs. hoards of girls in their most fabulous outifts waiting to watch the most anticipated movie of 2008 (at least in my book)!!!
the theater went dark and as soon as the theme song started, the crowd erupted in applause!!! i won't give anything away b/c i'd want you to have the most fabulous experience but let me tell you this...
it was worth the wait.
it lived up to the hype.
it was more fabulous than i could've imagined!!!
i cried the whole movie!!! but what else is new, right?? =P
so now i'm even more psyched for my "sex and the city" summer...minus the sex...=P
10 days left of school!
june is filled w/lots of activities!!!
going camping, visit from kathy, bday, mexico then once july hits...say adios, folks!!!
OFF TO LIVE IN NEW YORK IN ONE MONTH!!!! CAN'T WAIT!!! :)

| so...i've decided that xanga is dead. that's probably why i haven't wrote in awhile...:( and i'm too stubborn and prideful to switch over to facebook. i was too adamant about not doing it that i must stick to it...=P so here i am...writing my random thoughts to those very few who still are in the xanga world...:)
nothing much going on in life. been busy w/school, gap and church. can i tell you something tho? as much as i complain about how busy life is, i LOVE every aspect of it!!! i worked at gap like a full-timer during spring break and i really enjoyed seeing my coworkers everyday. and during break, i REALLY MISSED my kids. i didn't think that i would b/c i was getting annoyed w/them before break but surprisingly by the middle of it, i really wanted to see them. i almost cried when i saw them on monday b/c i was soooo happy...:) i LOVE my babies...:) and church is great as always. love all my buddies there! :)
a new development is that i am going to be in new york for the month of july!!! there's a writing conference that i'm attending and i decided why not? i have the summer off, i've always wanted to live out there, i should just stay for the whole month!!! and i am!!! treece and her roomies are gracious enuf to let me bum at their place and gap is transferring me to nyc for the month. so it's not like i'll be sitting on my butt all day, i'll be working and enjoying the ny life! :) i'm excited!!! :)
i actually wanted to write an entry so i could show you guys my high school musical dance class but the video won't upload...:( i think it's too big. it's 4 min long!!! i've tried many times and i'm done. so sorry...:( if you wanna see it, come over and i'll show you on my computer. we had our final performance last week and they were sooo good!!! i was mega proud of them and all the teachers complimented us afterwards!!! :) you'll just have to settle for some pics. i'm sad that the one and only pic i have w/them is blurry...:(
 
while on the subject of performances, i'm becoming a concert junkie again!!! went to a fine frenzy this month, will see sara bareilles and jason mraz in april, and i think i'm gonna go see maroon 5 again in august. i love music and enjoy seeing them live!!! :) can't wait!!! :)
know what else i can't wait for???? THE NEW CUBBIES SEASON STARTS ON MONDAY!!!
THIS IS THE YEAR!!!! 100TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY!!!! THIS IS IT!!!!
then on april 10th, the office is back!!! what more could a girl ask for??? :)

| i can't believe that i haven't updated since december!!!! but nothing spectacular has happened. i guess i need to change my little header there since it's no longer 2007...=P anyways...:) here goes my update!
so i've been waiting and waiting and waiting and it has finally happened!!!! nope, i don't have a boyfriend if that was what you were thinking...=P i've been waiting for SNOW!!!!!! :) shannon, victor and i were going to make a snowman last year but couldn't b/c i ended up breaking my wrist and had to wear a cast most of the winter...:( so when we saw the forecast for this past friday, WE WERE PSYCHED!!!!!
here we are making our respective parts of the snowman...
shannon was in charge of forming a perfect circular head
i had a ball rolling my mega fat snowball around for the body
and victor's job was forming the solid base
as we started to put it together, we noticed that it kinda looked like a frog...=P
and here is our final product!!! :) since i made it w/the garcias, of course he's a bears fan...:) look how BIG he is!!!! :)
here i am giving my "dream man" a kiss. notice that we changed his hat to a cubbies one...=P
and finally when we were done, we decided to leave a nice message for those crazy joggers who go running in the snow on the lake path...:)
i had SOOOOO MUCH FUN!!!!! but now i'm mega sore...:( we had a snowball fight, rolled down a hill sideways, fell in the snow and made many snow angels and got tackled. i had a BLAST!!!! i definitely think that you're never too old to have fun in the snow!! :) love it~!!!! :)

*if my manager tim ever left, i'd be very very sad...:( i <3 tim!!! he's so fabulous and thoughtful!! :) and even rebuking at times...seriously. it hit me that i really must have a shopping problem even if HE thought i was shopping too much. so i'm giving up shopping for lent and tim and i are figuring out what my final purchase will be before ash wed hits...:) seriously...i love that guy!!! :)
*we're not allowed to throw snowballs at school so i decided to throw my kids instead...=P i had a ball tackling them down into the snow...:) heehee...:)
*ortberg is da bomb...:)
*i'm getting old. i really forgot how old i was!!!
*i love adam levine a bit less since i found out he's only 5'11". see??? this is how IMPORTANT height is to me!!!
*i have a belly that suddenly appeared during the holidays and has not gone away yet. i was going to work out but tim talked me out of it...=P he said it's just winter fat and will go away in the spring..:)
*my friend's cousin is in bravo's "make me a supermodel." that show really sucks but i watch it b/c of jackie. hopefully she'll win!!! :)
*my guilty pleasure is watching "making the band"...=P i got into it b/c i was sick one day and watched a marathon on mtv. then i had to watch MTB 2, 3, and now 4. I CAN'T HELP IT!!! i'm hooked...:(
*i finally started watching "lost" b/c there was a recap of seasons 1, 2 and 3 on this week. it was on so i just watched and started crying and got all attached. but i have no desire to watch all the past episodes. i'm content w/just knowing the jist...:)
*i miss "asian christian" music. if you love me and care about me, make me a mix please...:)
*i need to hear more things about what Jesus is doing in your life. please share.
*fyi...i respond better to yelling and rebuke than people being understanding and sympathetic of my situation.
